Nurturing Program Implementation and Facilitation Workshops

The Program Implementation & Facilitation Workshop is a two to three day workshop that focuses on the philosophy of nurturing parenting, the different Nurturing Programs available, research supporting the programs, the different  delivery models of the programs, levels of prevention as they relate to the number of sessions (dosage), the use of assessment and evaluation in ensuring the program’s success and how to implement and facilitate the parents and the children’s programs.

The workshop generally focuses on implementing & facilitating the following
Nurturing Programs:

      • Nurturing Program for Prenatal Families

      • Parents and their Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers

      • Parents and their School-Age Children (5 to 11yrs)

      • Parents & their Adolescents (12 to 18yrs)

      • Teen Parents and their Families

      • Nurturing Skills for Parents

      • Nurturing Skills for Teen Parents, and

      • Programs in Spanish and other languages

Four and five-day workshops are also available to meet the training needs of less experienced professionals. The additional time allows Trainers to offer participants more "hands-on practice" in implementing program activities.
