Nurturing Program On-Line Training
Workshop participants are encouraged to go online and view a two day video-based-training in Nurturing Program offered by Dr. Bavolek. The workshop occurred in Cincinnati and attended by professionals and para-professionals interested in implementing the Nurturing Programs in their agency. The on-line instruction offers a pre-training opportunity for participants to view the program’s philosophy and principles as well as the program’s content, different models of the Nurturing Programs, strategies for implementing the programs, and assessment practices used to measure and monitor the success of the families. The on-line training also offers participants post-training support and a review of the major aspects of understanding and implementing the Nurturing Programs. Additionally, Family Development Resources supports a cadre of Nationally Recognized Nurturing Program Trainers and Consultants who are available for phone, electronic and on-site consultation.
