Sponsor and Host a Nurturing Program Workshop with Dr. Bavolek
Dr Stephen Bavolek is the principal author of the Nurturing Parenting Programs, Adult Adolescent Parenting Inventory (AAPI) and the Nurturing Skills Competency Scales (NSCS). He conducts two and three day workshops worldwide. Bring Dr. Bavolek to your agency and community by hosting a two or three day training. This cooperative arrangement with Family Development Resources, Inc. minimizes costs and keeps tuition rates low.
Host provides:
• Free training site in a good location;
• Bright or well-lit training room to accommodate 20+ people with tables and chairs;
• Flip chart and markers, TV/DVD, power point projector and screen;
• A short list of affordable lodging recommendations;
• Local networking to ensure local community and agency participation; and
• ordering and coordinating morning and afternoon snacks. Costs for the snacks is reimbursed by Family Development Resources.
Hosting Agency Receives:
• 1 free registration for every 5 paid registrations
• 20 free Red, White, and Bruises booklets
• 1 set of Nurturing Parenting DVDs (value over $300)
Family Development Resources provides:
• Training materials
• Registration process
• Reimbursement for cost of a.m. and p.m. break items
• Advertising and recruitment via the web and email list serves.
